Amanda Nisenson began her vocal study at the Juilliard School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Music degree from The Manhattan School of Music where she completed study in opera performance and classical piano. As an operatic mezzo-soprano , Nisenson has performed leading roles in numerous operas all over the US and Europe. She has been awarded top prizes from international opera competitions and has risen to critical acclaim for her solo Oratorio work. With nearly two decades of teaching and performance experience, she has made many radio and television appearances including a feature on Fox News, PBS and CNN. Nisenson currently conducts master classes and lends her voice out to numerous charities such as children’s hospitals, Voices of 911 and Autism Speaks.
Amanda maintains a private teaching studio in her native NYC and is pleased to join the faculty of Galicia Studios, Carlsbad,CA.
In the summer of 2016, Amanda received her yoga and meditation certification from The Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, California and now also offers private yoga /meditation sessions.
